Our cabins and campsites combine beauty, comfort and simplicity. They invite the body and the mind to get in tune with nature, to harmonize with its slowness and its pulsation in order to take root again.
Out of time.
With an extensive network of forest trails, kilometers and kilometers of horizon, a wide range of breathtaking panoramas as well as its abundant fauna and flora, Territoire Charlevoix is a playground with almost no limits but our own.
An autarkic country freed from the often too rigid parameters of habit.
Anyone feeling the urge or vital need to escape, get lost or even find themselves, will undeniably find an opportunity there to explore new perspectives.
Our cabins
Designed by the architects of l’Abri, our cabins are small autonomous buildings that offer an intimate encounter with nature and its majestic beauty, without sacrificing comfort. They are built for a complete enjoyment of the installations both in the warm months of summer and the colder days of winter.
Perfectly balanced between rusticity and modernity, the shelters are cozy and functional spaces, conducive to calm and escape.
Their orientation, carefully chosen location and generous fenestration give way to the pureness of nature, which accompanies you inside and out the shelter throughout your stay.
Our camping islands
Each of our archipelagos (L'Éclaircie, Le Sylvestre, Les Sommets) includes three campsites on wooden platforms. They are all isolated from each other for more privacy, as well as providing the groups they host with a panoramic shelter, perched strategically on the mountainside.
Comfortable and judiciously equipped, these panoramic shelters offer campers a space that combines beauty and simplicity to promote relaxation, contemplation and conviviality.
Our wild campsites
Our wild camping sites were designed to offer visitors an immersive camping experience in the heart of nature. They are carefully hidden throughout the forest to ensure a stronger bond with nature and its tranquility, while staying within walking distance of our nearby sanitary blocks.
Are dogs allowed?
At the moment dogs are not accepted on the site and in our shelters. We are very fond of our four-legged friends, but we prefer to operate in this way while we slowly become more familiar with our facilities and the surrounding nature.
Do the cabins have a fireplace inside them?
Yes, all of our cabins and shelters have a wood fireplace available. Firewood can be found in the wood sheds near your cabin or shelter. Collecting wood from the forest is strictly prohibited.
Is it possible to make campfires on the site?
Outdoor wood fires are permitted at designated locations that have been landscaped according to site topology. All of our shelters have a private fire pit. Islet A of the Sylvestre Archipelago and islets A and C of the Éclaircie Archipelago have access to a private fire pit. The Summit and Sylvester Archipelagos have a common fire location.
What should I do with my waste?
We have several trash cans (green) and recycling bins (blue) near the parking lots. All waste must be placed and securely closed in bags. Unfortunately, we do not have composting since it attracts more attention from wild animals. Also take note that we do not recycle propane cylinders for individual camping stoves (butane, isopropane). Please drop them off at a local recycling center or store that accepts them.
Do you have showers?
There are 2 sanitary blocks at your disposal, located near the parking lots. They are also accessible on foot from the cabins and camping sites. It takes between 2 and 15 minutes from most shelters and camping sites to get there. These sanitary blocks are completely efficient, welcoming, and allow you to take a shower and use a toilet regardless of the season.
Is there any danger with my food and the wildlife?
Store your food in insulated boxes or in coolers, since cabins and shelters are not equipped with refrigerators. If you are camping, you can put your cooler box in the panoramic shelters. Please do not burn leftover food in the campfire, but rather put it in a bag and dispose them in the garbage can near the entrance.
